i got to go cave exploring today! turns out there is a surprisingly impressive cave right down the road from my house. the first crawl-through was a little rough, but it opened up into rooms so expansive that you couldn’t see a ceiling. there was a waterfall in the back. someone had tied a rope to climb higher in the cavern, but it was too slick for us to consider. there were a few names carved in the limestone, one in particular dating back to 1903! damn. i just want to explore more caves now.
